The ScooterX ESX-Racer is just like the X-Racer model but has an electric start engine. This model has been around since 2003 and has been a big seller ever since! This model comes with the 49cc race moter, all chrome body, and large 10 x 3.5 inch tires.

The 49cc ESX-Racer comes standard with the following listed features:
| Front Suspension | The ESX-Racer comes with dual shock absorbers in the front end giving you a very plush ride. |
| 49cc Gas Engine | This is one of the most powerful 49cc motors on the market and it comes stock with a high compression head! |
| Top speed 25MPH | 33MPH with upgrades! X-Pipe and a HP Filter |
| Centrifugal Clutch | This is an automatic clutch |
| 10 x 3.5 inch Tires | These race tires are meant for pavement and mild off road use |
| Twist Throttle | This is standard on all of ScooterX scooters. The twist throttles are longer lasting than trigger throttles. |
| Aluminum Deck | Also standard on all ScooterX models is the aluminum deck which is superior to the wood decks for obvious reasons. |
| Front & Rear Disk Brakes | Disc brakes are much safer than drum or band brakes (most common in chinese scooters) for the simple fact that they work MUCH better! |
